Why I prefer ALE:

1) Shorter, simpler.  You can easily pronounce it.
2) It's the name of an alcoholic beverage.
3) "User"?  Where I'm from, them's fightin' words, boy.  I'm not a "user",
   dammit, I'm *root*.
