It amused me a few years back when MS Windows Servers started nudging administrators to use command line and/or scripting for serious tasks. 😃

What I found a tad distressing was when some vendors subsequently started sending pre-canned PowerShell scripts to run on Linux for doing remote tasks on their equipment.  😳

FVWM FOR TEH WIN!

You whippersnappers and your fancy pants desktops. Command line does all you'll ever need. Fast. Stable. Even do colors now but that's kinda going too far. Ncurses is enough gui for anyone.

No need to try and modernize when old bessie can still pull a plow daily and pull the cart to market on Saturday.
