[ale] OT: SSD vs spinning rust

It all depends on usage!  Both technologies have their pluses and minuses.
You can have spinning rust active for over 10 years, but are subject to
start/stop cycles.
SSDs have write limits, requiring wear-leveling to prevent writing to the
same cell over and over.
Basically:  YMMV but both techs are "reliable".
