Oh yes, very much so. Welcome to the world of AI training bots.
I've been forced to move a foswiki (twiki's successor) instance off the
public www and make it authentication-only, while publishing a static
snapshot. That's kept the foswiki instance from being DoSed repeatedly,
but while that helps the foswiki instance, the other resources still get
slammed.
So I also block quite a few IP ranges now, along with a growing list of
user agents. such is life.
