My last personal machine running winders was a Windows NT 3.51 that I wiped and installed RedHat 4 on in 1997. That was a good day!

I've jousted against M$ Blunders professionally ever since. 

Sadly, due to contract crap, my new work laptop runs Vomitous 11 but now has Rocky 9 in the wsl/vm stuff. 

Winders has not really improved in the interim 30 years. But the enterprise control has. 

Ironically, a huge chunk of my time is spent doing enterprise control of Linux systems in very large environments. A large chunk of the user security stuff it takes to keep winders admins happy is astoundingly easier to setup and maintain in Linux. 

The last major security change I set in motion worked instantly on Linux and worked mostly on winders. But some versions of winders were just too fubar to function so the entire project was shelved until more winders updates could happen.
