[ale] Anyone know why comcast.net emails are severely delayed today?

This morning an email sent to me around 7:52AM arrived at that time.
Later at 9:12AM I was waiting for an OTP email and it didn’t seem to arrive nor did a resend I requested. Around 20 minutes after each was sent they arrived. Unfortunately the OTP expired 15 minutes after being sent so were expired by the time I received them.
As the day has gone longer I’m seeing longer and longer lags between send times and the times they were actually received. That delay is now more than an hour.
I know the issue is at Comcast because:
1) The email app I use on my laptop is Outlook and it shows the delay.
2) The email app I use on my android phone is also Outlook and it also shows the delay.
3) Logging into Comcast’s Webmail shows the delay (so no Outlook involved).
4) Test emails I sent to myself from a non-comcast email to two of my comcast email addresses (including this one) were delayed.
5) Emails to my non-comcast email address do not have the delay.
It all reminds me of an issue seen on our mail servers where there were delays of what our company was sending to customers. It turned out the mail queue had gotten hosed because we were being blocked (either by a blacklist site and once by AT&T due to a policy change they made). The queue got larger and larger as the failed emails were reattempted so even the non-blocked email couldn’t get its turn in the queue.
Nothing on Comcast’s site indicates they know there is an issue.
