Okay, I was disturbed about the original post and planned on skipping the topic. For some reason I pushed myself to listen, likely because as a tolerant person of faith I've been labelled and ostracized from tech communities and conversations.
@William, I'm not following your train of thought. If I understand Lunduke, he's saying that distros that do not support SystemD are okay, and that if developers want to get together and keep a project/program they like going on after "official" support has ended, then that's okay as well. Others, like the Red Hat employee and Dan someone are called those sorts of people "****heads" and that it's a conspiracy.
Unlike Phil, I hadn't ever heard of Lunduke until now, so I haven't sent him any money. If I did listing to podcasts, though, his might be on the list. I liked the openness and vocal variation, it's difficult to find engaging speakers.
Is there a good reason to disparage developers building into the Linux community?

Between "can" and "can't" is a gap of "I don't know", a place of discovery. For the passionate, much of "can't" falls into "yet". -- lh
