[ale] Strong home wireless router?

+1 also for Ubiquity (Uni-Fi).  

I have several APs in my house and absolutely love it!  It is extremely easy
to manage, and you hand many cool options that you can adjust to tweak for
your environment.

I know that Ubiquity has mesh options as well but I have all of my APs
hardwired.
