Never know.  Lots of places/people are moving from GigE to 10GigE networking, so some older 4-port NICs could easily come up for sale.

I have a card like that with (4) Intel 82575GB NICs.  I haven't tested the full limitations on bandwidth for using all the ports concurrently. It has never been an issue, but I don't push it hard.

I could use 2 more of those 4-port cards for other systems.
