[ale] NVM SSD form factor confusion

Friends:

I have a Lenovo laptop and  when I opened the back side I found the hardisk
that looks like this.

Imp point is that he Form Factor is M.2.2242

I need to replace it and I am looking on Microcenter site.
I see only drives with Form Factor of M.2.2280

This is one example

Now would I be able to put the M.2.2280 drive instead of the M.2.2242 drive
?

The one issue I see is the length of M.2.2280 is more than that of the
M.2.2242 drive.
