Interesting. I hadn’t seen those scripts. I like the Docker approach because I don’t need to keep anything else up other than Docker and the storage I attach to the container.

I used the install script, and have been using the update scripts from https://GlennR.nl/ and he seems to do a good job of keeping up to date, as does Jacob Alberty.

FWIW, I use https://github.com/jacobalberty/unifi-docker to manage my  
home network. I really like the Ubnt gear, but there's no way I'm  
relying on their hosted configuration management tool for my network.
