[ale] Samba security

I don't think that I would open up Samba/CIFS to the internet.  As DJ
mentioned, access via a VPN would really be only only 'safe' method to
access a Samba/CIFS share from the internet.

Alternative... How about WebDAV?  You could control it easily with one port
and use SSL.
