[ale] Firewall convo

I would prefer to not have a subscription to maintain, otherwise I’d be on the Cisco stuff for WiFi.  :)

It doesn’t have to be TRUE Linux, just a hardware firewall that would fit in about a 4-inch wide cabinet with a lock on it.
