[ale] Replacing shared host?

That's odd since their hardware is all redundant. I'm a skeptic any time
someone has some outrageous story about Digital Ocean's failures because
every time the story turns out to be not what it seemed upon digging
deeper.

They're considered one of the best VPS providers in the world today, top
5 definitely, maybe even top 3. Personally I think they are #1 when you
compare their price to AWS and GCP. They didn't reach that position by
screwing people in the way you've described. Cases like yours, if
they're ever real, are less than 1% and it's strange how every time
someone mentions Digital Ocean, someone is there to talk about their
fractional-percentile horrifying experience. So I don't believe you.

And you're right, you should always keep your own backups.
