[ale] How do you manage users across your organization?

I'm curious as to what directory studio provides, other than low-level ldap access, that is needed for user management? The cli for freeipa is rather complete and keeps changes within the structure well. 

I used directory studio to extract user data from an old AD setup then migrated to freeipa.
