The best distribution to run on this and many other ARM based SBCs is the Debian based Armbian  https://www.armbian.com/download/

I’m running it on a Pine64, Beelink X2 (an H3 based system like the NanoPi M1), SolidRun Hummingboard, Odriod XU4 and a CubieTruck.
