[ale] Ubuntu 17.04 Flavors ...

I spoke too soon. Now I can get all my 17.04 boxes to freeze randomly in
Unity ... my home box just froze on me after running for 24 hours:

I see this in syslog:

unity-panel-ser[3469]: menus_destroyed: assertion 'IS_WINDOW_MENU(wm)'
failed

Which could be related to what is described in this bug:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/indicator-appmenu/+bug/1505171

Regression?

Wouldn't be the first time. I don't expect too much effort going into
resolving Unity bugs, if indeed that's what this is.
