That may be true, but I've been surprised, pleasantly. For example, both
my chromebook CPUs have VT-x enabled.
Core i3-5015U (Toshiba CB35-C3350)
Celeron 2955U (Acer C720)
So it isn't as cut-n-dry as it was previously.
I was shocked when the celeron had it AND it was enabled.
Though - containers work on any Linux - no VT-x needed.
