[ale] kde question

Okay, this is beginning to get silly.
I ran the command <yum reinstall epel-release>.
No such repo appears in the directory /etc/yum.repos.d.
The only epel repos listed are these:
epel.repo 
epel-=testing.repo


So I ran this command as root: 
find / -type f -name epel-release-7-5.noarch

(the systax of the find command is a bit odd, but I think I got it
right.)

and I got this response:

find: ‘/run/user/1000/gvfs’: Permission denied

I am still confused.
