You pay cash for your ISP? A check is exactly the same tracking data as a
credit card except it has your bank account on all of them. I certainly
can't imagine a bank getting an analyst to look at spending patterns so
they can sell services to individuals or businesses.

Basically if you want any if the comforts and capabilities of a
technological society, it comes with the tracking baggage.  The alternative
is cash only and live in the street. Then how am I going to keep my beer at
a proper serving temperature?!?!

Not gonna bring up using a gmail account with a picture attached to the
account :-)
