Kennesaw has a fair number of trails and quite long ones also (I’ve spent hours there by accident). You can see cannons on the top of some of the hills so it is educational for the little ones.

Define ‘not that long’ and how difficult do you want it to be? Going up Stone Mountain is short (about a mile, but there are some pretty steep areas). Stone Mountain also has several other trails which are short and not as challenging.

Kennesaw Mountain trials, which I’ve not done yet.

Good hiking trail not that long and interesting. Need to take family today out is my day off. Suggestions!
My first thought:
1. Kennesaw mountain
2. Stone mountain going up mountain.
