[ale] help, windows 7 boot error

There aren't many choices here. The best option would normally be to reinstall, but you can't. Or can you?

Is this a retail version of Windows? If so install it under KVM, and be done with it. No extra drivers are required, and a single qcow2 file can contain multiple snapshots which you can roll back to at any time.
