I have tried the HOW-To for fedora static IP and I always end up with no
internet connection, & go back to DHCP... I've ALWAYS had a static
connect, until fedora 21.. ever since they changed it from eth0 to enp2s0..

2: enp2s0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc mq state UP
group default qlen 1000
    link/ether 84:2b:2b:bb:b8:75 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
    inet 192.168.1.94/24 brd 192.168.1.255 scope global dynamic enp2s0
       valid_lft 81326sec preferred_lft 81326sec
    inet6 fe80::862b:2bff:febb:b875/64 scope link
       valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever

and now I finally got around to setting up google 2-step authentication,
which broke thunderbird gmail... googled that to figure out how to add a
google app password for mail, sheesh!
