[ale] firefox crashes

Jim, if you're still experiencing crashes with Firefox try running in 
safe mode and check your extensions. I noticed it stopped happening in 
safe mode and 2 of my extensions were flagged as as not being able to 
verify to work with firefox. I now have those 2 disabled and so far no 
crashing.
