actually same OS, fedora22.. well, it is dual-boot with... what was
that, oh yeah, Windows 10.. haven't booted that since I first booted it
& upgraded to windows 10. created the restore DVD's for windows, put
them safely away, and installed fedora.

got my Samsung laser printer installed & working, vlc installed, Mate &
enlightenment desktops, lightdm.. backup crons installed, apcupsd,
dovecot & postfix for my local email... forgot the root alias... hmmm,
ok check, done.
received desktop Friday, added 2nd drive & installed fedora 22 Saturday
morning.. Saturday night things got crazy, dnf was hanging, not
downloading, pausing.. not sure what happened, but it slowed down my
installation. this morning, after a few reboots, all seems well. this is
also the first desktop I've had that connected via wireless.. weird, it
took a whole bunch of searching to figure out how to make it just wired..
got my new bluetooth keyboard & mouse working.. all is well..
