[ale] End of XP

Allen,

Trying to keep it simple. Also this is 5-8 year old hardware, so probably
not enough resources to run VM's and my concern is more about there being
no more security updates for XP after next month. I suppose running XP in a
VM that is locked out of the internet would be an approach that could get
around the security concerns, but the performance hit on our hardware,
would be too painful.
