What do you use for your pfSense box at home? I use it at several locations at work and love it. We use proper rack computers though. I'd like to put one in at home but I'm thinking a small embedded or appliance box. I have seen a number of models around, but I was wondering if you or any other ALE'ers had personal recommendations.

Subject: Re: [ale] [OT] Good cable modem to connect to Comcast?
I asked this question back in February and got some good advice. I ended up going with a Motorola SB6121 SURFboard. It gives the full advertised throughput and meets all the DOCSIS 3.0 etc. requirements that were recommended on this list. I only use it purely as a modem, with firewall on a pfSense box and wifi on a separate WAP.
So far, I have not had a hitch with it.
On Comcast's 50 down 10 up service, we've had that here for 2 years now and it performs as advertised. Had one or two general outages, but besides that, they have delivered on their promised speeds. I'm about to upgrade to their 100/20 service!
