Err...that's more or less what I am doing with Page Plus and
Millennicom.  Page Plus gets $12/mo for dumb service to my Android
phone and the Millennicom piece gives me wireless in my third most
common location (the vehicles), because #1 and #2 have good wireless.

Several of the reselling providers will allow this, though
compatibility with 4G devices can be shaky.
