[ale] warning data corruption with new 750 gb seagate hybrid drive

Hi all,

Just wanted to post a quick update here.  I THINK the drive is ok and I THINK the problem was in my setup, and I THINK I have it working.  Almost all of what I'll be sharing is related to 4K sector drives, so I'm going to elaborate on it in the other thread on that topic.  That partition stuff I was talking about in the other thread is just one piece of a 6  - 9 step procedure you may have to go through to get these things working.  Later today, I hope to write all that up so others can benefit from my week of pain.  See the other thread on 4K sectors for more details.
