That about sums it up. I actually started with Debian, then tried Fedora
(back when it was called Fedora Core), but once I moved to Gentoo I knew I
had found my ideal OS. All of the decisions are placed in my hands, and
while that would overwhelm some, it's exactly what I wanted.
