[ale] OT: Animated GIF's are back/rant

I feel your pain. I _hate_ GIFs. After getting fully fed up with the
current fad I wrote a Chrome add-on to block the damn things --

Only problem is there are a couple of bugs that make it annoying and I
haven't had time to fix them :(
