[ale] OT: What the hell is XSS in Comcast land?

I've been running 4 routers of my own behind the comcast modem for years.  I never had to change the mode of the modem and don't even care if I have access to it.  (This modem doesn't do wifi.)  I just connect the wan port on my last router to the ethernet port of the modem.  That last router happens to be wired only, so I have a few wifi routers with their wan ports connected to the lan ports of that last router.  Works like a charm.  I have segmented wifi for different purposes and never have to touch the config of the comcast box.
