[ale] Thunderbird Slowness

I've been pondering this in conjunction with learning MongoDB. Given the
number of drivers for Mongo, you could send you mail to the database, have
it replicated, and pull out from a variety of clients in a large number of
languages. I really like the separation of storage and UI.
