Hi all,
I've been using the Astro File Manager on my Android ICS tablet and really liked it. Unfortunately, they radically redesigned the UI on the latest upgrade and stripped out some valuable features, like finding the memory usage of an external memory card. If you use and like the program the old way, if it is still the old way, immediately turn off auto upgrades in the google play store for that app. Read the user comments. Many users hate the change, including me. I have some old apk files that I had backed up previously for this program. Can someone tell me now to sideload one of them or install it from the google play application. I've already deinstalled their new version, so I guess I don't have a file manager on my tablet now.
Sincerely,
Ron

(PS - If you email me and don't get a quick response, you might want to
call on the phone. I get about 300 emails per day from alternate energy
mailing lists and such. I don't always see new email messages very quickly.)
