[ale] bizarre error with thunderbird

Okay, I think I've figured this out.  I only get the popup error when I 
select an email that contains a reference to svn+ssh://...

I guess it's trying to figure out how to handle that as a link in the 
event I select it.

So, would this be considered a bug?
