AT&T? Cagey? NO, say it isn't so!
I didn't even think about UVerse because nowhere on their website do
they ever mention upstream bandwidth numbers. They talk about various
download speeds, but never upstream. If an ISP can't even be bothered
to talk about bi-directional speeds then I can't be bothered to consider
giving them business.
I've been pretty happy with Comcast business class, especially since I
helped them debug an Atlanta-area router configuration problem. After
that fix went in I don't think I've seen a single network failure. But
even Comcast residential service gives you a public IP.
