[ale] Question on Routes

zero is network designator on a cidr address i.e., 192.168.23.0/24 and one
is a pretty standard gateway address., i.e. almosta all routers that have a
default lan gateway use 192.168.0.1, in my experience.
Chuck,  ask your isp if they block ping by default. Some do.
