[ale] Tablet as a desktop

It amuses me to no end that “tablet” enthusiasts feel they need to add other devices such as Bluetooth keyboards and external cases but don’t see the absurdity in preferring tablets over laptops or netbooks.

I've done my fair bit of remoting using an iPad + Bluetooth Keyboard. But I absolutely love my Asus Eee Pad Transformer + Keyboard Dock, which gives you a cursor-like experience that's great for using Windows or VNC remotely.

Is anyone here using a tablet and keyboard doc as a main desktop?
I'm looking at one so that I can just grab and go. One issue is going
to be maintaining productivity with my current desktop. It would run
headless (no LCD) and then I would access its desktop via the tablet.
This would be the only solution since I keep about 10 xterms open at all
times.
Crazy idea?
