Why did the nsa have a billion dollar bounty on someone who could
crack Skype enmcryption?

I imagine it would be possible to encrypt Skype with a plugin that
uses a psk. But that's essentially the "tunnel" mentioned previously.
I don't know if zrtp would work as a Skype plugin, though.
