Which is why I like the Coreboot project.  Imagine being able to flash 
100 systems with a custom BIOS that'll only allow a system to boot after 
a special USB dongle is inserted or a key card is swiped.  The hard disk 
can also be decrypted using that same key.  Another cool feature might 
be a lock inside the PC case that will only disengage after the key card 
is swiped.  I am sure someone's working on that right now.

Best of all, you won't be locked into a proprietary vendor BIOS/system 
just for that feature.
