So, I have a Canon HFM300 HD digital cam corder. Great little device.
Unfortunately, converting video from it to videos I can use at home is a
real PITA. Currently I have to do this:
1) mount /dev/sd?1 /tmp/mnt
2) cp /tmp/mnt/PRIVATE/AVCHD/BDMV/STREAM/* /tmp/movies
3) convert a BUNCH of MTS files to DV ( ffmpeg -i $Source -target
ntsc-dv $Target )
4) Import into Kino
5) Cleanup/Transition
6) export to MPEG
7) Try and get working with dvdstyler to make DVD's for the kids
Anyone doing something simpler/easier or know a trick I haven't hit yet?
Robert
