[ale] vm interface config

My first question was going to be - does the public address have the
ports open..

Starting Nmap 5.21 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2011-07-23 01:31 EDT
Nmap scan report for 66.170.20.226
Host is up (0.040s latency).
Not shown: 989 closed ports
PORT STATE SERVICE
22/tcp open ssh
25/tcp open smtp
53/tcp open domain
80/tcp open http
110/tcp open pop3
135/tcp filtered msrpc
139/tcp filtered netbios-ssn
143/tcp open imap
445/tcp filtered microsoft-ds
993/tcp open imaps
995/tcp open pop3s

This may be old news, but the most likely issue was that and it appears
your mail services ports (25, 110, 143, 993, 995) are all open.

Is this issue still persisting? The systems I manage are all vms and
NAT does not appear to affect them.
