[ale] Pentium vs AMD vs DDR3 based motherboard

Well I am slowly taking a bite towards the DDR3.  I am getting

MSI ATX mother board + AMD proc for $108

Memory 8GB is 55.(I can get 4GB for 29)

So I am paying $155 (or 138)

If I go with DDR2 I approach I will be paying 65.(not for memory, which I
have already but the new mother board)

Yes I have not considered a case but I can wait for that I guess.

My current processor is BE 2400(score of 1211) and my new processor will be
the X4 840. (score of 3740)

Any good cases around for an ATX motherboard ?
