[ale] how to I unmark the replied flag in Evolution

You can easily mark the message unread by clicking the little envelope
icon next to the message (and the inverse is true to mark an unread
message as read without actually opening it), but I am not aware of any
way to reset the replied flag.

It might be a better idea to sort by read/unread, and then use personal
custom flags on the messages to indicate whatever you're trying to
indicate via the replied flag.  Since the replied flag is a flag stating
whether or not it was replied to yet, you might want to try using the
"important" flag, which you can click on just to the right of the
read/unread/replied indicator icon, and a red exclamation point will
appear and the message headers in the header pane will turn red.
