[ale] Linux GUI or CLI backup tool

You can look at Unison for a tool that utilizes rsync stuff via a GUI. 

Bacula is a backup software for open source backups.

Haven't used either of those myself but see a lot of mention of them when these kind of questions come up in other forums.

Have you tried SUSE Studio? Need to create a Live CD,  an app you want
to package and distribute , or create your own linux distro. Give SUSE
