But I was replying to a ALE member. :) The frustrating point is that MS 
knows the many companies only write apps that work on windows and a 
Linux user should see this as a reason to work harder at making their 
Linux system work and not relying on GUIs or what not. I simply hate the 
idea that MS decided to change Java and add hooks that turned an OS 
independent language into a dependent one, as an example. One main 
reason I use Linux is because I do not want to be manipulated by a 
company that does not give one crap about the end user or freedom of 
that user by using its monopoly to destroy competition. So I stand up 
and fight the good fight, although a long fight it has been.
