Perhaps we can dovetail with the Linux Fest on the 19th? The difficult part
of a MythTV InstallFest is the video signal. The last fest was located at a
crude (but effect) site that offered cable (unencrypted), DirecTV, OTA.

Everyone who has one of these seems to love them. I don't have one.

In theory, it should work. The NFS is certainly no problem; in fact, it's
nearly mandatory in some instances. Basic MythTV operations are not
particularly cpu intensive, and therefore probably would be OK in a VM.
However; if you are going to do more advanced MythTV stuff (like
transcoding), then MythTV and VM would be a pretty CPU intensive.

Check out MUCH @ http://groups.google.com/group/MUCH_Att -- I've seem some
stellar advice provided there. It's a small group of local MythTVers. Also
it would be the place to rally support for a MythTV InstallFest.

Cheers,
Preston
