[ale] server troubles (again)

Hold on.  Jim and I have already been in discussions.  We have a machine
in mind and it's even already been preloaded with CentOS 6.1.  He's
checking on what it's going to take to get it racked and set up next to
the old server so we can do a smooth cutover with a minimum of downtime.
If we use the machine we're discussing, it'll will be a major upgrade
for our server (on the order of using an elephant gun to kill a mouse).

We're just keeping everyone apprised of what's going on, and that we're
aware of the problems that seem to be escalating and we're working on a
solution.  The offers are much appreciated but, hopefully, won't be
needed just yet.
