To whomever asked about a machine for learning about virtualization:
I found a message with a link to the article I used as the basis for the
machine I am building to learn about virtualization. Here's a link to the

So that's a bare-bones gaming machine for under $525 but if you leave off
the graphics card and power supply, its under $400. I went to a retail store
and bought a case for $60. So I'm right around $450 total for a machine with
a quad-core processor, 8 Gb RAM, and 1 Tb HD.
