When I was in junior high there was a paper plant near our school.   One
they threw out thousands of flat thick paper disks that look like the
lids from a KFC bucket.   We had fun for weeks tossing those at each
other.   One morning before class I was throwing one at a classmate and
it whizzed by the ear of a teacher who suddenly got out of her car just
as I threw it.   I don't know whether that scared her or me the most.
The next year I had her as my French teacher and always wondered if she
remembered who it was that nearly beaned her.

Being a frisbee aficionado, I must say, flat disks do not fly well at 
all.  They tend to turn over and nose dive.  Thus, I suspect they were 
not 'perfect for frisbee.' :)
